Student Attendance Policy Consultation
To support student success and achievement, the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is developing a provincial student attendance policy to set clear, consistent expectations regarding student attendance in our public schools.
Improving student attendance is a shared responsibility and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is asking Nova Scotians for ideas on how to improve student attendance at school.
- Please take a few minutes to read “Be There: Student Attendance and Achievement - A Discussion Paper” which provides context for consideration when thinking about student attendance.
- Then click “Share My Opinion” to send us your thoughts.
Responses will be used to help develop the provincial student attendance policy.
This survey will be available until July 8, 2016.
