MyCreds
As of May 2023, students of Nova Scotia International Programs (IP) schools will have 24/7 access to their In-Progress Transcripts, Official Transcripts, and Diplomas in their own virtual credential wallet.
Through MyCreds™, students will be able to securely and conveniently access and share their academic documents with colleges and universities, government, employers and third parties.
Documents issued through MyCreds™ are tamper-evident and cryptographically signed, making them authentic and official.
Note:
Please direct all enquiries regarding MyCreds to International Programs at mycreds@novascotia.ca. This includes any questions related to fees, refunds, and functionality of the system.
For those who graduated before 2023, please access the Document Request Service.
What is MyCreds?
MyCreds™ is a national, shared service and platform that provides students and graduates access to a secure, online, password protected learner credential wallet. This virtual wallet allows students to view and share their verified and official transcripts, credentials, and academic documents in a digitized format on a 24/7 basis – anytime, anywhere.
Secure, cryptographically signed documents can be sent conveniently and require no further verification. Documents are issued via the platform and stored securely in MyCreds™ | MesCertif™.
Your data remains under the control of the International Programs division, and this information can only be accessed by you, IP, and with whomever you choose to share your documents.
Registering your MyCreds account (current grade 12 students)
Once we issue you an academic document (e.g. an official transcript) you will receive an email to your NSPES or GNSPES email address. The school principal will have records of these email addresses.
- Follow the instructions in the email to register your account with MyCreds.
- Once you have registered your account, you will receive a second email from MyCreds with a link to activate your account.
- When your account is activated, you will be able to view and share your academic documents.
- IMPORTANT: Your NSPES/GNSPES email will be deactivated 1 year after you graduate from the Nova Scotia program, therefore it is very important that you link a second email to your MyCreds account.
- Former students will also be required to register for MyCreds to access their transcripts (see below).
Fees
Each current grade 12 student/graduate is provided with five (5) free share credits to share their in-progress and official Nova Scotia High School transcripts. Once you have used your allotted free shares, you will be prompted to purchase share credits at $60 CAD each.
