Student Exchange

The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, under the direction of the Minister, is responsible for approving student exchange programs to work with the province’s Regional Centres for Education / Conseil scolaire acadien provincial to offer reciprocal exchanges in which Nova Scotia students attend school outside Canada for a pre-determined timeframe, and international students attend public school in Nova Scotia for the same pre-determined timeframe.

 

Applications are being accepted for Student Exchange Programs for the 2025-26 academic year. 

  • To request an application form, please email intl_programs@novascotia.ca with the subject line "SEP 2025".

  • The deadline to submit applications is Monday, March 24, 2025.

Note: This is for organizations, not individual students. Students apply to approved Student Exchange Programs directly.
